Another former WWE superstar returning!

It was recently announced that former WWE women’s champion, Mickie James will be making her return to the company. Although her return would not be back into the WWE directly, she is expected to return to NXT programming for the NXT event from Toronto. She is currently scheduled to face the NXT Women’s champion, Asuka in a title match.

It was noted by Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the deal between Mickie James and the WWE was finalized in the last few days. She was not present for the recent episode of the NXT tapings, but we had a taped video message by James herself announcing her return to the company.
