Mauro Icardi has been a household name in the city of Milan. The potent Argentine has impressed everyone since his move to Inter Milan and with the age of 23, he has years ahead of him. He has all the qualities that makes him a perfect choice for the job of natural number 9 and has flourished under Roberto Mancini in the same role.

He is considered as a promising young striker and was even awarded with the Captain’s armband last season, but this year has been a major disappointment for the Argentine. Inter Milan have made their mind about parting their ways with the sensational striker leaving him uncertain about his future. Mauro Icardi was a product of an Argentine club and his potential was realized by several Spanish clubs which were in the race to sign him. Barcelona eventually won the race as they signed him. Icardi stayed at the Catalan club for three years and was sent on loan to Sampdoria for more playing time and this was a club where his true potential was identified and they signed him permanently and from there he prospered scoring goals against teams like Juventus which led to an inter Milan approach for the striker. Since then he has scored 47 goals for Inter Milan in 88 appearances which is a clear testament of his talents.

Turmoil with his club

It was a series of events that led to the decision that Mauro Icardi was surplus to the Requirement of the Italian club. This led to major European attraction as he his highly rated among the European elites. His wife/agent Wanda Nara stated openly that the Milan club wanted to sell him.

The call from north London   

Though there were several suitors that emerged for the Argentine but the fuzz was soon faded away as many clubs dropped their interest in him and now Arsenal are the only club that are looking as the favorites to hire his services. He and Arsenal both have emerged as the saviors to one another. There have been some serious development which concludes to his move to English Premier League giants and if it does, then this will be a huge leap for his career.
