At lunch day 2, Kohli scored 200 runs as India are on strong position with 404 on board with 4 wickets down in 119 overs. R Ashwin also completed his fifty and total partnership stand between these two is now 150 plus.

Kohli also broke Mohammad Azharuddin record of his 192 runs against New Zealand in Auckland in the year 1989-90 season.

Earlier today, Kohli started with an unbeaten 143 runs at stumps on Day 1 of first test match, and he picked up from where he left yesterday to complete his double century in 281 balls just 1 over before the lunch on Day two.
