WWE superstar and current Hollywood actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently confirmed that he would be playing the role of Black Adam in the upcoming movie, Shazam! and would also be seen playing the lead in another movie titled, Black Adam. This is the first time The Rock would be associated with DC comic superstars.
WWE superstar AJ Styles and ESPN commentator and former WWE superstar, Jonathan Coachman were one of the first few to congratulate Kurt Angle on his Hall of Fame Induction. Styles called Angle is friend and congratulated him on the induction while Coachman added that Kurt Angle is the most talented in-ring performer he has ever seen.
In a recent interview with ESPN to promote his new film, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, WWE hall of famer revealed that in the past 7 years that he has retired, neither Vince McMahon nor Triple H ever approached him for a return to wrestling. He added that he will apparently never entertain the idea of a return to the squared circle. However, he fantasy booked himself in a match against Samoa Joe if he ever returned to the ring.
As a follow-up to yesterday’s story about Goldberg possibly wrestling the main event of WWE’s upcoming pay per view, Fastlane. The latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to work the main event with Goldberg. So, that would mean an open invitational for all the superstars on RAW. There has been no report as of this writing as to who Goldberg’s opponent is scheduled to be.
It was recently revealed by a user who goes by the name of ‘Da Belt Guy’ on BeltTalk.com that new designs have been confirmed for the WWE IC and US belts. He further revealed that the new design is not going to be a copy of the big logo.
Chris Jericho recently revealed Vince McMahon’s reaction to his ‘list of Jericho’ gimmick when he made an appearance on the Busted Open Radio to accept his 2016 Comeback of the Year Award. Apparently the initial idea from Jericho was to use the list as a foreign object to be used for finishes. But Vince reportedly shot the idea down and wanted to have it as an entity.
