WWE News: The Undertaker returning to SmackDown Live!

0

Ever since his match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 32, the Undertaker has been missing from the action on the WWE scene. He was also excluded from the WWE RAW draft, along with the likes of Triple H, and the Rock. A lot has been said and written about Taker’s future with the company, especially after he was spotted walking on crutches. To add fuel to the fire, there were reports of a tiff between the Chairman of the board, Vince McMahon and Taker, along with Taker telling everyone backstage that his match against Shane would be his last match.

However, Taker squashed all these reports by appearing in costume for the NBA play offs where he showed his support for Cleveland. Ever since, there has been a lot of speculation and expectation in the pro wrestling community. It appears that the Deadman is finally making a comeback to WWE programming! This is definitely music to the ears of fans of all ages.

SmackDown Live’s 900th episode airs from the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. The twitter account handle of the arena made the announcement earlier today. The episode will be telecast live on the 15th of November and will be the final episode of SmackDown Live before Survivor Series. Survivor Series was the pay per view at which the dead man made his appearance for the first time. However, it appears that WWE is bringing back Taker for the anniversary of SmackDown, since Taker has been associated with blue brand for most of his career and has carried the show on his shoulders along with the likes of Edge.

Does it mean the Phenom is making his return to set up a potential feud for WrestleMania? It appears highly unlikely that Taker would participate at the Survivor Series pay per view, as the WWE would want Taker to be associated with the brand for the pre-WrestleMania season. WrestleMania is definitely Taker’s yard and the event would be incomplete without the Phenom.

As fans, we cannot help but be excited and look forward to the 900th episode of SmackDown, especially for Taker’s return.
