AJ Styles is out and it appears he is injured from the match at TLC as he is wearing a cast on his left foot. He cuts a promo about beating Dean Ambrose at TLC and out comes the man of the moment, James Ellsworth. He accuses Styles of wearing the cast to avoid the title defense against him later tonight.

Ellsworth reiterates that he has AJ Styles’ number after beating him thrice. Due to that, AJ is now ducking.

Ellsworth takes credit for AJ’s victory, but AJ says he would have won either way, with or without Ellsworth’s help. Dean Ambrose is out next and he immediately hits a dirty deeds on James Ellsworth and leaves. AJ laughs and walks away.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton vs Rhyno and Heath Slater: The tag titles are on the line for this match. There is competitive back and forth action to open the match and Wyatt takes control over Rhyno. Orton gets the tag and gets a near fall on Rhyno after a knee to Rhyno’s head. Rhyno connects with a shoulder block and tags in Slater who comes in and clears house. Slater gets a two count on Orton following a super kick and Orton comes back with a spinning power slam. Wyatt tags himself in and drops Slater with a lariat.

Wyatt goes for the Sister Abigail but he tags in Orton and hands Slater over to Orton who hits an RKO.

Randy Orton covers Slater for the win.

Carmella is out to cut a promo on both Nikki Bella and Natalya. She says that the real Natalya has reared-up and that she is a con-artist.

Carmella vs Natalya: Natalya starts off with a double leg takedown and there is a brawl that breaks down at ringside. Even before the bell rings, Natalya chases Carmella backstage where she runs into Nikki Bella. Natalya tells Nikki that she can’t believe what Carmella says about her attacking Nikki at Survivor Series. Nikki walks away and the match ends in a no contest.

The Hype Bros vs The Ascension: Ascension is in control of the match initially on Ryder. Mojo eventually gets the tag and lays out Konnor with a series of clotheslines. He connects with the Stinger splash in the corner. There is some back and forth action here until the Hype Bros connect with the Hype Ryder on Viktor for the win.

The Miz and Maryse are out next to host the next episode of Miz TV. Miz introduces his guest, Dean Ambrose and asks him how angry he was when James Ellsworth stabbed him in the back at TLC.

Ambrose says he is not angry but he is shocked. Ambrose says he helped Ellsworth get a job but Miz counters by saying that Ambrose used him as a puppet to mess with AJ and manipulated him. He adds that Ambrose deserved to have Ellsworth risen against him. Ambrose gets into the Miz’s face and the Miz says he may have walked away empty-handed at TLC but now he can give him a participation trophy.

Ambrose says he is going to shove the award down Miz’s throat and Daniel Bryan is out to interrupt. He says the main event tonight will be Dean Ambrose vs the Miz with the Miz’s Intercontinental title on the line.

Baron Corbin vs Kalisto: Corbin connects with a lot of elbows to Kalisto but he comes back with a round house kick to Corbin and throws him to the outside. Kalisto goes to the top rope and connects with a moonsault on Corbin on the outside. Kalisto kicks Corbin in the head and follows it up with a springboard tornado DDT and a hurricanrana for a two count. Kalisto comes off the ropes but Corbin catches him with the End of Days for the win.

Chad Gable vs Tyler Breeze: Jason Gordon and Fandango are at ringside for the match. Gable starts off with a suplex and running knee to Breeze, sending him to the outside. Fandango causes a distraction but Breeze drops Gable at ringside and rolls him back for a back suplex.

Gable comes back with a T-Bone suplex, and a flying cross body off the top rope. Jordan connects with a belly to belly on Fandango. Gable connects with a German suplex on Breeze and pins him for the win.

Alexa Bliss is out next to celebrate her Women’s championship victory. She calls herself the in charge of the women’s division and as expected, Becky Lynch comes out to interrupt. Becky says she is going to know Alexa off the top of the Women’s division and says she wants to fight her right now. Alexa rolls out of the ring and heads to the back.

The Miz vs Dean Ambrose: There is back and forth action initially and Miz rolls to the outside and Ambrose goes for a suicide dive but Miz pulls Maryse in front of him and Ambrose stops. Ambrose beats the Miz at ringside and throws him into the barricade several times. Miz comes back with a flying clothesline and they exchange attacks till Ambrose is caught by the Miz with a leg kick and a drop kick to Ambrose’s knee.

The Miz locks in the Figure Four on Dean. Ambrose gets to the ropes and throws Miz to the outside. Ambrose follows with a suicide dive and throws Miz back into the ring. Miz calls for the skull crushing finale but Ambrose escapes. Miz connects with a DDT on Ambrose. The Miz follows with a series of kicks and Ambrose retaliates with a clothesline.

Ambrose goes to the top rope but Maryse knocks him down behind the referee’s back. James Ellsworth comes to the ramp to point out to the referee that Maryse interfered. Ambrose pins the Miz but the referee is distracted by Ellsworth. Ambrose looks at Ellsworth and gets distracted, allowing the Miz to hit the skull crushing finale for the win.

Ellsworth looks on and walks back up the ramp while the Miz and Maryse celebrate the Miz’s victory.
