The MLB Season 2016-17 has started with a bang, with all the popular stars back along with the sizzling crowds cheering for their team as loud as they can. Some teams have been utterly dominant while some teams have been miserably poor but the Trade deadline is finally here.

We are just couple of days away from it and it can completely change the season upside down for many teams if their Manager’s plans succeeds and he is able to get the players he want. Here is a look on the players that will be light this year’s trade deadline day

Drew Pomeranz

Pomeranz enjoyed a successful season after leaving Rockies and he could be a bargain this season for any club. Though he may not be on same level like some others but his Earned run average is around 2.88 that shows what he is capable of but the big problem for any suitor is that he has two-year remaining in his contract.

Sonny Gray

Sonny Gray is a name which everybody wants to have and hence will be the biggest player to be carded in trade deadline day. His stupendous ERP of 5.34 proves himself to be a worthwhile addition to any team who buys him. The rise of Sonny Gray continues as Red Sox are willing to splash the cash on him.

Jay Bruce

Another name that has marked a strong comeback after returning to his old basics. The all round ability of this supremely talented lad his brilliantly explained by his stats. He is proficient defensive outfielder. He can score home runs and can also be available for bargain.

Ryan Braun

The experienced baseball veteran can deliver according to exceptions and that’s why teams have shown interest in him even though he has a major thumb problem along with a mammoth four years and $ 80 million contract that will be too much to pay but he is the man who can perfectly justify the sum to take his services.

Wil Myers

The 25-year-old holds great talents and there are three years remaining in his contract. Though his team rate him highly but that doesn’t mean that the club won’t trade him if they receive a deal that looks better to them.
