Cesaro may move to SmackDown Live after all!

0

Not long ago, we had reported that Cesaro may very well be on his way out once his contract expires with the WWE later in October this year. However, looking at the way WWE pushed Swagger to SmackDown Live, it may also be that Cesaro gets his big main event push on the blue brand.

As of this moment, there is no confirmation as to whether he will indeed leave the company, which may be decided on the basis of the best of seven matches’ feud he is in with Sheamus. He is currently poised at 2 to Sheamus’ 3 points in the seven match series. As of now, he is set to win the series, but plans change in the last minute in the WWE, if it’s ‘best for business’.

DWN reports that the ultimate goal of the series was to crown an ultimate winner. However, nowadays, a true winner is the one who feuds for the World title, be it on RAW or SmackDown. They still report that Cesaro will be traded to the blue brand, come what may.

The whole concept of having the best of seven series does not do any good to either of the superstars at the moment. Both deserve a title shot, Cesaro being the most favorite to win the title shot in the near future. Cesaro has proven time and again that he deserves major opportunities. He has not held a major title since 2012, when he held the United States Championship. He also held the tag titles with Tyson Kidd. He always has been a hit with the crowd, and in spite of his injury, his momentum did not die down. Upon his contract expiring, he may ask for his trade to the blue brand.

SmackDown Live has always had the best of technical wrestlers on their brand. Having Cesaro on the same brand as AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler to be managed by one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the recent times, Daniel Bryan, would be a treat to watch for the fans and the WWE management as well.
