After a morale boosting and spectacular performance against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, Indian team will lock horns with lowly ranked China in the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy at Kuantan, in Malaysia. The 11th match of the tournament will take place on Tuesday – October 25th at 6.30pm IST.

India won its first match of the tournament 10-2 against Japan, played a draw against South Korea 1-1 in their second match, won 3-2 against Pakistan in the third match. On the other hand China got defeated in their first match against Malaysia 1-5 , won against Japan 2-1, and lost against 3-5 against Korea in the third game.

We were much stronger than Pakistan, but we need to raise our game further. We can improve on this performance. Our defence made a few mistakes in the second half yesterday. Pakistan were able to spot and capitalise on them to score two goals. Make no mistake, China can give a tough contest, says Oltmans.
