After losing 4-1 to Spain in the first warm match before the start of Rio Olympics, India will take on Spain in the second warm up match on 28th July 2016 at 9.30 p.m IST (4 p.m GMT). India is currently ranked 5th in the recent FIH Hockey ranking and on the other hand, Spain is ranked 11th.
Indian captain P R Sreejesh stated :
“We hope to gain some match practice in Madrid. We leave for Rio on July 29 from Madrid. The boys are upbeat, well prepared and eager to start the tournament.” he added.
