In the midst of the uncertainties about N’Golo Kante on whether he will stay with the Leicester City or sign in with a new team most probably Chelsea, Leicester City decided to tempt Kante with a much-improved offer for signing the four-year contract with them.
N’Golo Kante has made a great impact to Leicester City ever since he has been the part of the team. It hasn’t been very long since he started playing for Leicester City but in this very short interval, he has changed the fortunes of the team. That is why Leicester is so eager to retain this key player.
N’Golo Kante has been a star player for the last few seasons and thus he managed to find a place in the PFA Premier League team of the year which in itself speaks volume about this player. His excellent run also helped him find a place in the France squad.

Telegraph reports that Leicester City has already made a huge offer of £100,000 a week to N’Golo Kante for staying with the team, but it did not please him too much and clearly he is expecting more. However, they are not going to give up on their key midfielder so easily and are all set to offer something better than the previous deal.
The offer of £100,000 a week is by no stretch of imaginations a bad offer. In fact, had he taken this deal, he easily would be become the contender for highest paid player joining hands with Jamie Wardy who is at the same level. However, he certainly thinks that he deserves more than this which is justified. It still remains to be seen that far Leicester are willing to go up in their quest to retain N’Golo Kante.
Kante has impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in the Premier League and Antonio Conte, the manager of Chelsea is particularly keen on getting him into the squad. However, Leicester is not looking to let him go so easily. Moreover, Leicester seems to attract more as they were the winners of the Premier League and also will be playing the Champions League football in the coming season.
