Manchester City have finally signed Leroy Sane

After days of drama along with some twists and turns the clouds of doubt about the possible move of the German sensation Leroy Sane is finally over as Pep Guardiola led Manchester City have wrapped up the deal. The Sky Blues announced that they have finally signed the FC Schalke star for a reported sum of ₤37 million.

The young star was welcomed by his German counterpart Ilkay Gundogan, who welcomed him on twitter. Leroy Sane is the third Manchester City signing this season after Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito. The Manchester City management was heavily in for the German star, but the deal was only completed once both the clubs had an agreement regarding the terms.

A star in the making

You got to have something special in you when you are a top transfer target for Pep Guardiola and he wants you desperately. Sane has everything you ask for, he is a natural winger who absolutely loves to dribble and penetrate through the stubborn opposition defenses. He is among the most highly rated youngsters in the football world and had a stellar season for a Shcalke last time around. He has overall 13 goals to mark his senior career, but it is just the start. He is a part of the German senior team too, that truly explains his credentials.

Where he would fit in?

The signing of Schalke star can mean the end of Raheem Sterling’s city reign as he has the same playing style. He can work his way anywhere in the field in the attacking half supporting the out and out striker. Manchester city will have to be patient as he is a raw star right now and needs to be nurtured. Pep Guardiola has definitely developed some raw talents into superstars and he can do the same with the Afro boy.
