Indian test skipper Virat Kohli today got out in an unusual manner on the 4th day of the first test match against England in Rajkot.

He was out hit-wicket to leg spinner Adil Rashid in the 120th over of the Indian innings when he was playing on 40 runs. Adding to the surprise, no Indian cricketer in last 14 years has been hit wicket in test cricket and Virat is the only second captain of India after Lala Amarnath to be hit wicket in a test match in 1949 against West Indies.

Overall Kohli is the 22nd Indian batsmen to be out hit wicket in all formats. Kohil after getting out could not believe his luck and left the ground in a disappointment.
