WWE’s next pay per view offering, is the RAW brand only pay per view, Hell in a Cell, scheduled to take place on the October 30th, from the Td Garden Arena, in Boston, Massachusetts.
We are two weeks away from the event and here’s what the event looks like thus far:
Charlotte vs Sasha Banks for the WWE Women’s Championship: This would be the first time a women’s title match would be contested in a cell. Banks laid out a challenge to Charlotte and Mick Foley upped the ante by announcing it to be a first ever women’s hell in a cell match.
Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship: This is Rollins’ second chance at Owens’ title after his previous attempt was sabotaged by Owens’ best friend, Chris Jericho. Expect Jericho to play some kind of a role in the match or be added to the match, given that he has been at the center of Rollins’ attention for the past couple of weeks. Also, it has been rumored that this would be the last pay per view for Jericho before he leaves to record a new album with his band, Fozzy.
Roman Reigns vs Rusev for the United States Championship: This was the only hell in a cell match advertised for the pay per view, as Reigns had asked for it. This would be the third encounter between the two and hopefully they will move on to newer feuds after this, given Survivor Series is the next pay per view.
TJ Perkins vs Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight championship: This might be the final encounter between the two. We may see newer cruiser weights being added for Perkins after the match.
The New Day vs Cesaro and Sheamus for the Tag Team Championship: This is an interesting match, given that Cesaro and Sheamus form a really odd pair, but they are unstoppable as a team.
We may see Enzo and Cass vs the Club, especially after the vicious attack on Enzo and Cass over the past week. It would be interesting to see how WWE builds the feud.
