WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recently went under the knife for a second procedure on his leg in the recent months it appears, according to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE SmackDown Live’s viewership rose this week when compared to last week’s viewership with an average of 2.652 million over last week’s average viewership of 2.533 million. SmackDown Live saw the return of Mickie James, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler and a steel cage match for the women’s championship between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch.
On the latest episode of the weekly podcast, ‘Talk is Jericho’, Chris Jericho revealed that he recently signed a new contract extension that will seem him remain with the company at least through the WrestleMania season. He added that he was very excited about the next few months and revealed that he has a lot of projects coming up and can do as many shows as he wishes to.
Former WWE Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus gave birth to her second child on the 14th of January at the South Lake Hospital, Newmarket, Ontario. The baby girl has been named Madison Patricia. We would extend our heartiest congratulations to Trish Stratus and her family!
Goldberg is apparently booked for the March 5th WWE Fastlane pay per view and may be in the main event of the pay per view. His possible WrestleMania opponent, Brock Lesnar however has not been booked or advertised for the event. As of this writing, there is no word on who Goldberg’s opponent might be.
Former WWE superstar and current TNA superstar, Drew Galloway, best known as Drew McIntyre to the WWE fans recently revealed how he would like his return WWE promo would be. He thought that although he was the chosen one when he was chosen by Vince McMahon at 21 years old, he was not quite ready for the push. He also said that after the 3MB stint, being released and having a chance to reinvent himself and becoming the Wrestling’s ‘Chosen One’, he is back to where it all belongs. We hope that definitely happens sometime soon in the future.
