We have some sad news to announce. It has been reported a couple of days back that WWE Hall of Famer, Jimmy ‘SuperFly’ Snuka has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and that he has only six months to live.
He appeared on a video link for a court hearing for his murder case from a hospice care in Florida. The revelation was made by Snuka’s doctor.
We hope the news is not as bad as it sounds and we hope that he would have a speedy recovery.
This comes days after another WWE Hall of Famer, Vader announced that due to his wrestling career, he has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and that he has not more than two years to live. We hope Vader recovers too and miraculously survives.
Tamina Snuka, his daughter has recently revealed that she plans to come back to the WWE soon and that she will be joining the RAW brand. She would definitely be a great addition to the thin women’s roster comprising of Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley. Apart from Nia Jax, no other woman competitor has been able to leave a mark and strike a cord with the WWE audience.
Having Tamina back would help bolster the roster strength by leaps and bounds, given her lineage and time with the company.
In other news, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made it to the cover of Sports Illustrated, again. WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon posted a congratulatory message to the Rock. The year has been phenomenal thus far for the Rock.
WWE Superstar, John Cena is scheduled to host the next episode of the Saturday Night Live show, due next weekend. Nikki Bella posted a congratulatory message for her boyfriend. While there has been no official timeline for Cena’s return, it is expected to see him back in the squared circle in time for the Royal Rumble.
Nikki Bella apparently botched a move in her ‘brawl’ against Carmella, causing Carmella to have a black eye after the attack. It appears that Carmella would be heading into TLC injured.
In NXT related news, Shinuske Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe at a WWE NXT Live event from Japan.
