Roman Reigns has been shoved down our throats for the past one year, especially since the Royal Rumble. When the WWE knew that the universe could not swallow Reigns any longer, they immediately pulled in Reigns’ famous cousin, the Rock.
For the first time in a long time, the Rock got booed heavily and led to the WWE sticking to have both of them separate.
Just when we thought Reigns was finally gaining acceptance, he was suspended for violating the WWE’s wellness policy and had to sit out. After his return, he was immediately pushed into a feud with Rusev. And the feud did wonders for Reigns.
Not only was he able to get people to cheer for him, but he had a good time getting a reaction from the universe. And as always, just when he was getting things right for himself, it appears he is going to be put back into the Universal Championship title picture against Kevin Owens.
So, one might expect that the WWE would want to expose Roman Reigns as much as they can so that the WWE Universe could get used to the idea of having Reigns for themselves. It is being reported by various websites that Reigns has been pulled from the rest of the European Tour. Now, it is a good thing that it is not for any violations or injury. It appears that Reigns had some family commitments and that he had requested for time off a long time ago and the WWE seems to have agreed.
Regarding his feud against Owens, it seems that there would be some kind of a situation where there would be a situation leading to Brock Lesnar being added to the title picture. Owens against Reigns would be an example of a classic heel vs perfect baby face. Having Lesnar in the picture would spice things up. However, it appears the WWE appears tightlipped currently about the plans and we will have to wait and watch as to what plays out.
