It was not long ago that Hulk Hogan slowly started making his way back slowly, indirectly to WWE programming. It seemed that it was just a matter of time, that the WWE would forgive Hogan and welcome him back into the company with open arms.
The rumors began circulating after Hulk’s daughter claimed that she knew that the WWE had begun contacting the Hulkster for a possible return at WrestleMania 33 in an interview with TMZ.
The rumors were debunked by Hulk Hogan himself, who claimed that Brooke deserved a big boot to the head and that he has not spoken to anybody about WrestleMania.
To further ‘confirm’ things from his end, he claimed he asked Brooke what she was doing, to which she responded that she’s just starting up. He claimed to have done everything in good fun.
Well, Brooke was again interviewed by TMZ, she noted that she got into huge trouble for making her previous comments.
TMZ claimed that Brooke was neither denying the news nor was claiming it. When asked specifically about a role for Hulk at WrestleMania 33, she claimed that he is capable of anything and it’s safe to put it that way and leave it there.
Based on Brooke Hogan’s recent comments, it seems as if she is trying to play things safe, given that it would be a surprise element to have Hogan come back.
Obviously, the WWE would not want anyone to know about it, given that the WWE are hell bent on trying to make this year’s WrestleMania the biggest ever, with big names like The Rock, Triple H, John Cena, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker scheduled to make appearances apart from many other hall of famers participating in the event in non-wrestling roles.
As expected, the WWE is not saying anything about Hulk Hogan, but given that Hogan has refused, profusely if I might add for the tape and given that he won the lawsuit with Gawker, there is a possibility of WWE mending fences with Hogan soon.
