Not long ago, we saw Randy Orton turning on the monster Kane and aligning himself with the eater of the worlds, Bray Wyatt. The two competitors recently captured the tag team championships on SmackDown Live and it looks like there is no stopping them.
Having Luke Harper in the equation makes things bad for the opponents of the Wyatt family.
A lot of questions have been left unanswered about why Orton joined the Wyatt family in the first place. He has never really come out and spoken about it. All he said that he was in a better place now and was at peace and happy with himself in a long time after he joined the Wyatt family. A new report states that over the coming weeks, there will be a gradual change in Orton’s character.
Although the current plan for the tag team champions who recently used the ‘Freebird rule’ to their benefit, are scheduled to feud with the American Alpha heading into 2017, the plan is to have Orton slowly walk out on the Wyatts. The American Alpha and the Wyatt family are scheduled to have their match at the Royal Rumble.
Apparently, Randy Orton had recently discussed the betrayal of Bray Wyatt and the family and had termed it as ‘inevitable’. A logical explanation would be that Orton will obviously cause the Wyatt family to drop the tag team titles soon and begin working a program against the Wyatt family.
A new report claims that having Randy Orton turn on the Wyatt family at the Royal Rumble would boost the feud and also give the feud a new life heading into WrestleMania given that Orton has been a part of the family for almost two months now.
For Bray Wyatt, although he has a great character and is one of the few superstars to produce great matches, he has never really won in big matches at WrestleMania. Having him go against Orton would not only help him establish himself as a legit singles competitor but it would also allow himself to be portrayed as a genuine heel.
