The next pay per view from WWE’s offering is the Table Ladders and Chairs, abbreviated as TLC, scheduled to take place from the American Airlines Arena at Dallas, Texas on the 4th of December.
Here are the six matches scheduled to take place at the event:
- Nikki Bella vs Carmella in a no disqualification match.
- Baron Corbin vs Kalisto in a chairs match.
- SmackDown Live Women’s championship: Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch in a Tables match.
- SmackDown Live Tag Team championship: Heath Slater and Rhyno vs Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.
- WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler.
- WWE World Championship: AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose.
There might be another match added, possibly in addition to a pre-show match.
Nikki Bella vs Carmella: There are two possible swerves for the match, with Brie Bella possibly making an appearance to support Nikki Bella. She has been hinting to make a return to wrestling and given that she is currently expecting a baby, she might cause a distraction on Carmella and help her sister come out on top.
Another possible swerve is John Cena making an appearance for Nikki Bella, given that Carmella has publicly targeted Cena with words lashed indirectly. WWE, this would be a perfect time to turn Cena heel, with Cena actually coming out and costing Bella the match. That way, you can expect tons of heel heat against Cena, given that the couple is loved by almost all the fans.
Baron Corbin vs Kalisto: Quite frankly, there is nothing much to expect with this feud. It has been somewhat of a dull feud with none of the competitors receiving any reaction. Added to that, the WWE has hardly invested any creative process into building the feud. It would be interesting to see Kalisto come out on top, since this would be a great way to include him into the cruiserweight division.
He would also have a lot of unpredictability to the division. We do not call any swerve for the match, since nothing seems to be possible on the horizon.
Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss: This is one interesting feud and the WWE has built the feud excellently thus far. Both the women have indulged in excellent mic work and Alexa gained a slight edge as a heel when compared to Becky. It would be interesting to see Alexa hold the title.
But we predict that Becky Lynch would win the match. A potential swerve for the match is to have Eva Marie come out of her wellness policy violation suspension and her appearance might spice things up, given that she recently bagged a movie role opposite Nicholas Cage and Faye Dunaway. Although it does not add any unexpectedness, it would be great to see her coming up to make it more unpredictable.
Heath Slater and Rhyno vs Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt: This is one of the matches we are looking forward to the most, given that having Orton and Wyatt win the tag titles would help bring some credibility to the tag titles, given that the RAW tag champions have broken records. Also Rhyno and Slater although are exciting and can extract reactions from the crowd, they are not in a position to retain against strong competition like Orton and Wyatt.
We predict that Wyatt and Orton would win. Potential swerves including Randy Orton finally turning on Wyatt. That would call for Orton waiting for the precise moment to hurt Wyatt when he could hurt him the most, when it most mattered. Another possible swerve is to have Eva Marie make an appearance, given that there were rumors of her joining the Wyatt family as Sister Abigail.
We don’t really know whether this would happen, but it would be interesting to see it happen.
The Miz vs Ziggler: This is the match for the nth time between the two. Somehow both the competitors have managed to keep the feud alive. If you were to ask, who needs to win more, at this point, it seems, it should be Ziggler who needs to be validated. It would be an epic ladder match so there can be no potential disappointment.
Potential swerve: The feud between Bryan and Miz has to end somewhere. Wonder when the WWE would feel the moment is right to have the showdown. Having the two feud would shape up for an interesting Royal Rumble, given that the Miz is for sure to be added as a participant in the Rumble match.
Also, having Daniel Bryan back in some sort of physicality would help increase ratings for SmackDown Live. If Bryan were to cost the match to Miz, that would mean the end of the feud between Ziggler and Miz.
The feud has been on ever since the draft and needs to stop. Although it appears that Bryan will not be appearing in a full time wrestling role, it would help boost ratings for the Royal Rumble. Besides, the Miz has made his displeasure known for Bryan after the latter did not appreciate him for winning the I.C. title for the blue brand.
AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose: As an in-ring performer, Styles is way ahead of Dean Ambrose. Although their feud is entertaining, it is not as entertaining as the feud between Styles and Cena. We hope James Ellsworth does not have much to do in this match as that feud has run its course and more importantly, he has a future title shot at the World Championship.
Potential swerve: A possible swerve is to have Ellsworth turn on Ambrose, now that he has a contract under his belt. That would also have him gain some credibility rather than being viewed as a filler for entertainment. However, we must agree that Ellsworth would be the trump card for the match and let’s face it, it would help have some great spots in the ladder match.
Although it sounds epic, we don’t see Ellsworth causing Ambrose the match. Although a bit farfetched, an appearance from the Undertaker would help spice things up, given that the next pay per view is Royal Rumble. Although at this point, it seems to be unlikely that Taker will make an appearance. We feel Styles will retain his title.
